Thank you for your interest in Children's Wellness Center. We are a small practice in the heart of your community that is focused on personalized, quality medical care for your children. The goal of our practice is to recapture the relationship between family and physician that seems to be lost in today's medical world. We pride ourselves on the time we take to listen to our patients (and their parents) to make sure we provide the best care for your child.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT for Kaiser Permanente Insurance Holders
Effective October 1st, 2010 - Kaiser Permanente will terminate it's contract with TCHN. They are expanding their offices, physicians and services in metro Atlanta and desire their members to see only Kaiser doctors. We did renew a contract with PHCS so that our office may see Kaiser patients with the Multichoice/PHCS plan. Kaiser will pay from Tier 2 benefits which means patients will pay the higher copay and/or deductible as indicated on the insurance card. If you have any questions regarding your change in benefits we ask for you to call the customer service number on you Kaiser insurance card.

Our office has just redecorated the pictures with the beautiful, talented photography of Jess Kam. Jess is a natural light newborn, baby and child photographer. Her style is fun, fresh, and modern. She customizes each session to the child's interests so that she caputres their personality and unique expressions. We hope you enjoy these new pictures as much as we do! Change in No-Show Policy

We have changed the fee for No-Show from $25 to $50. As a reminder a No-Show is a missed appointment AND/OR a cancellation with less than 24 hours notice. If you have any quesitons regarding the change to this policy, please call the office.
Flu Vaccine Recommendations

AAP Guideline Update

 


School is back in session and many sports teams have already started their practices. However the risk for heat-related injury is still high and in response to this the AAP has updated their guidelines. Click here to read the changes.  
Camp Forms and Physicals

It's that time of year for camp forms and physical forms to be filled out. Since we receive such a high volume of forms we are requiring parents/guardians to fill out their portion of the form before sending it to our office. If you are not picking up the form please provide a valid fax number and/or a stamped and addressed envelope. All of our nurses are working hard to get forms back to parents/guardians as quickly as possible but keep in mind that it will take 5-10 business days to return all forms.
PLEASE NOTE that we are also now charging a $10.00 rush fee for any parent who needs a form back within 48hrs. In addition effective September 1, 2011 there will be a charge for all forms that need to be filled out excluding the 3231 and 3300 forms. If you have any questions regarding this policy change, please call the office.
Drop-side cribs banned by the US government

The government has officially banned drop-side cribs after numerous recalls by the CPSC. Please click here to read more about the story.
Policy Update

Please note: Effective 01/01/2011 – Patient Balances over 90 days old will require payment in full or payment arrangements with billing department prior to any well-child check or physical. Failure to comply will require the well-child check or physical to be rescheduled until obligations are satisfied.

Expectant Parents

Are you an expecting parent? We would love to meet with you at our office. We currently offer meet and greet's throughout the month so you have a chance to meet the doctors and get more information about our practice. Below is our current meet and greet schedule. If you would like to sign up, please call our office (404) 303-1314 to be put on the schedule as space is limited. If you are not an expectant parent and would like to meet with one of our doctors please call the office so we can set up a time for you.
